School Profile
Pearl Matriculation Higher Secondary School is situated in an entirely new premises on the way to the Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College for Women, Kilakarai. The School was established in June 1993 by Late Al-Haj Dr B.S. Abdur Rahman Sahib sponsored by Seethakathi Trust, Chennai which has established various educational institutions par excellence in Tamil Nadu
This school has been named as “PEARL” on the name of our founder’s wife Late Mrs. Muthu Zulaikha. The word of “Muthu” in Tamil is PEARL. She was a very enthusiastic lady, interested in the higher education for women and always keen to develop the minority community.
Initially, the school which was started in the name of “Pearl Montosery” with the total strength of just 33 students and a total of 11 staff members. It has grown steadily and upgraded to Higher Secondary Level with a total strength of above 860 Students and 80 Staff Members. Now this school has successfully completed its 26 years of dedicated educational service, many students have now passed through the portals of this institution with flying colours.

- The crescent and the star on the top left represents the Divine Grace.
- On the right, there is an open book depicting the Holy Quran to guide us on the right path.
- At the bottom, there is a balance representing the Divine Justice.
- Underneath the shield is a verse from the Holy Quran in English “Our Lord Bestow on us mercy from thyself”.
